My son lives in Brooklyn & often finds "treasures" that have been put on the curb for anyone to take (a daughter lives in a large city in CA. & they do the same thing there) every once in a while he'll call about a curb side sewing machine to check if it is one he should rescue for me.

I bet there's an avid quilter out there somewhere racking her brain trying to remember where she put them down!

I think an angel from heaven knew you would take good care of them. Congrats on your find.

There are so many patterns that are still the same over the decades, just made with different colors. Should give you a lot of inspiration. Have fun.

Sometimes the "old" tips are the best tips in the magazines. Then sometimes one scratches their head and wonders !LOL

What a great find. I'm sure it will be a lot of fun to look through them and see what kind of quilt patterns they were making 10 and 20 years ago.

I bought about 25 at The Bennington Quilt Festival for .50 a piece. They are fantastic.
