Library or Senior Center. The churches here charge $150.00 due to insurance costs. The library here closes at 8 P.M. so we had to go somewhere else.

I should add that we meet only one day a month at the Legion and pay $105. per day . If we have a teacher in for a workshop another day then we have to pay another $105 per day.We have 54 members and our membership is $35. from Sept to June.

Some of our guild neigborhood groups meet at a local JoAnn's. Some meet in a LQS and we have one group that meets in a nursing home. We have not found local churches helpful at all.

Have you tried local libraries or community or senior citizen centers?

Our Guild is 278 strong and our meetings are held at the Masonic lodge I don't know what, or if any of the fees are.

The Guild in Lancaster PA meets at Landis Homes...It's a retirement home, etc. They have a great big room they use for activities, etc. The seniors love to have them their and they encouraged to come and sit and join into with what the women are doing at the meetings, etc.
