    Default I dream of quilting

I had a dream last night that involved me giving a quilt away. The crazy thing is, it was a really cool quilt! I made sure i stayed awake and repeated it to myself when I woke up, so that I would remember it. lol. now I can't wait to make it!
It was just a simple rag quilt style, but reinvented and combined with some layered quilting techniques, and an eye-spy theme. who knows, i probably saw it somewhere and it landed in my subconcious. but until that is proven, then I am going to give credit to the quilt dream gods!

Looking forward to seeing it! When was working I'd wake up in the middle of the night so I'd have time to sew.

One of favourite things to ease into sleep is quilting designs unfortunately I get so excited I have to get up and put it on paper before it slips away.

Well, I see I'm not the only one who does this! I'm putting blocks together in my head as I fall asleep.

I find quilting to be too stimulating to think about during my bouts of insomnia! During the day though, hubby can see me day dreaming into "quilt world" as I'm thinking things through...

Sometimes after a long day of quilting or planning, what is planned/worked sort of drops down in blocks like tetris pieces and I twist and turn and put them together and sometimes I find new combinations or understandings of how the blocks work. LOL, happens more than once for me on the Bonnie Hunter Mystery. Instead of visions of sugar plums, visions of HST dance before my eyes!

Sometimes we "must" make a certain quilt for a certain person. even if we never know who ended up with that quilt. Enjoy your quilt making, it will end up where it is supposed to. (())

I love dreaming about quilts. The bad thing is I never remember them long enough to get them written down or at least a sketch of one. I am impressed at your ability to do this. Congratulations.

I watched one of Erica Arndt's videos the other night and proceeded to dream about making blocks with her at her house LOL
