Me, too. We have our home on the market right now and waiting . . . We haven't looked at the other end as yet, waiting to see what happens with the first Open House on 4/1. Meanwhile, Lady Lucy (my machine) is up and some of my fabrics and UFOs are available. However, the bulk of my stash is already packed. A friend is the recipient of some fabrics, etc. as she is involved in making charity quilts. The house selling could take some time, but we are hopeful. I really just want to the move to be over. I/We have passed the 3/4 mark but feel we need to move closer to one of our children. Better now while we are able, than later when forced. Quite weary at this moment.

I'd hate to have to move my stash! However I do move it around continuously.

Red face

I hear you. We were selling our house 5 years ago and I had to pack almost everything up while we were selling the house and put it in storage. Then it had to stay there for over a year while we rented and were looking for another house. It was horrible. I did take my sewing machine and some supplies. Then I went out and brought some things I needed and oh well I have doubles.

Good luck to all of you in your moving. We have talked about moving to a smaller place but probably never will.

I will be doing this as well come September! Hopefully "my" room will be larger - wishes for a smooth move to all.

Good Luck Ladies with your moves! It is fun to unpack and find things you thought you no longer had. But then there is always the funny--why did I keep THAT? I still find things in the attic spaces from our move 10 years ago. Boxes I thought were long gone. Sometimes I wish they were long gone.
