I am making my DH a halloween quilt for his birthday (oct 31). At first was going to do a D9P but did not like the way it looked, so now I am just doing a regular 9 patch out of 5" squares. So far I'm using just 3 fabrics, alternating the outer squares with the inner squares, keeping the middle square constant. I like the way it is turning out. IF I ever get it finished <grin> I will post pictures.

Hello, from Oregon!

Are you looking for ideas?

I made these years ago (grands wore them for 3 years). I was very proud how CUTE they turned out. Basically two stuffed circle pillows with shoulder straps and side ties. They were easy.

I've made wall hangings inspired by a Halloween quilt from "Our Best Seasonal Quilts" from Fons and Porter. Very fun!

I did a little pumpkin door hanger for my front door for October. I do one for each month and I will be starting on a Poppy for November. I did the little sewn pumpkin pincushion for a table decoration. It's from the fiskars site that Craftybear? listed for us.
