I'm getting ready to make my first purchase from Hancocks. 8 yards of Kona Cotton Snow for my dresden plate quilt based on board color recommendations. It's pretty expensive and I was wonder if Hancock's ever has coupons? If so, when and how do I get them?

It's regularly $6/yard.

Buy at least 1 yard (their stupid half yard system) it's now $4.78/yard, a savings of 20%.

Seems pretty cheap to me.

No, they don't have coupons, but if you sign up for their emails, you get notice of all their sales which are sometimes 20% off everything. Their Kona price (full yard or more) is one of the lowest around and they carry all the colors so you can get whatever you want all at the same place.

Thanks for the advice. I'll be signing up for their e-mails. They do have the best price I've been able to find for the Kona in the color I want. It's just hard to click that buy button until I checked to see if it is an OK deal!

If you can stretch to buying 10 yards, it's even cheaper per yard.

HoP stopped their graduated discounts years ago. One yard or ten or thirty, it's all the same now. It's only the one half yard that costs more than the rest.

You might also want to check retailmenot.com. THey have coupons for tons and tons of sites. From the comments, it sounds like you won't find one for HoP, but it's always good to check! I have used a coupon on ever fabric.com order I've ever made :D

I got an email with one for 10% off. The code is DM110101. I do not know if you can re-use it, but give it a shot!
Happy shopping!
