Does anybody else on here have experience with waiting a long time for delivery with this site? I don't think I am going to order from them again. It has been a good 2 weeks since I ordered from them and I still have not received my order. I order from other place in the US and usually get them in less than a week. I wonder why it takes Hancocks so long.

I haven't ordered from them, but can you send them email to ask them what the hold up is?

I ordered from them once and it took a long time and they didn't send one of the items. When I emailed, they were less than helpful, so I canceled the item. They replied I couldn't cancel online but had to call. I told them if they could take my money online, they could certainly cancel an order online. After another round they canceled it and I decided to not order from them again. Just my experience...

I have to say I live 4 hours from a store I ordered from and it took them about 2 weeks to send they do get busy and it could just happen they might be behind. I would agree with Craftybear email them to find out the shipping timeframe. Sorry it is taking so long!

I've ordered from them and had no problems. I will be ordering a kit from them next week that just came out. Folk Art Village from the Williamsburg Collection of Windham Fabrics. It looks like a Charles Wysocki painting. Really cool. I love that Americana stuff.

I ordered from them a couple of weeks ago and had my fabrics within 5 days. Also I ordered 2 1/2 yds of each fabric and received 2 3/4 yds. so I was quite happy with my experience.

Did they send an email when they shipped your order? I ordered from them a couple of weeks ago and my fabric arrived last Friday, less time than normal. Maybe, with all the mail activity this time of year, your order is delayed in shipping. What part of Ontario are you in?

I just placed an order recently and half of it was sent very quickly (despite the free shipping offer). The second half was backordered, and I have had to wait a very long time for backordered items in the past. But at least this time I knew it wasn't in stock before I ordered it!

I did get an email when it shipped.

I order from Hancocks of Paducah quite often and the only time anything has ever taken more than a few days to get shipped to me is when it is backordered or out of stock when I order it. When that happens, they keep me well advised of when it is expected to be in and when it ships. I have never had any problems with them at all and they are at the top of my list of online places to shop. They do ship FedEx ground so that takes up to 10 days to get anywhere but they tell you up front that it will take that long.

In my experience with shopping online, you get far faster and nicer customer service if you take the time to call and talk to a living person than if you simply send an email off into space. And generally, you get back the same attitude you give. :D
