Red face Happy National Quilting Day!!

Happy National Quilting Day!!!

I'm having a personal quilty sew-a-thon today & thought everyone might want to share in this day with me.

I plan to start by working on my row in my very first Round Robin. Then I want to chain sew 3 of my Thangle blocks a friend sent for my birthday last year. I have another gift bag that I need to finish and get in the mail. If I get all that done in a reasonable amount of time, I'm going to start cutting out a pattern that I'm test for someone. What I don't get done - I'll carry it over to tomorrow.

So what's your plans today? How do you plan to celebrate this quilter's holiday?

Until next time...
Toodles,
Tricia

Ah, I didn't know it was such a special day!! But I am quilting today. Well, at least getting the blocks ready on my design board. Here's what I'm working on. I've asked for help on a separate thread too

I'm working on a lap quilt for my friend. When she was in chemo, I made her some scarves. Now that she doesn't need them (rejoice!!!) she asked me to make a quilt from them. This is the first time I have worked with a proscribed amount of fabric and NO PATTERN. There have been some lumps and bumps along the way but I hope she will like it. I need to finish it today so I can give it to her when I see her next weekend. If I would just stay off the computer, I would get a lot more done!!
