Since the pieces are soooo small, I use a wood meat skewer to feed them with. Make it easier.

I regretted starting with a large project as a beginner. You will improve with time - start small.

I agree with starting with small project but not small pieces. That scant 1/4 inch seam is difficult to master.

Actually, I forgot about this, Rhonda has a bunch of tutes on the way she does miniatures. She has a different way of doing it than conventional piecing.
