Default How do you handle corners of flying geese border?

I will be putting a dark floater border before the FG border to adjust for lengths. I am undecided about the corners....how do you handle yours, please?
(I gave up on the curved flying geese paper pieced units for this border....they were extremely time consuming, and my desire to finish this up took over)

I continue the geese to the end of the border in all four borders. So on the bottom of your quilt the geese pointing to the left continue under the northbound ones

There are lots of ways to do it. Let the geese continue until they meet the quilt's edge, put a plain square in the corner, or put a different block in the corner. In your case, a 4-patch on point would look cute in the corners.

Or a solid color block for the fg ending in color, background for tip endings....two would be color, two would be background...

Sometimes I put in a solid corner block and continue the geese after the block so they go around the quilt in a clockwise circle formation.

Gorgeous!!! Maybe consider a corner block of square in square on point to match interior diamonds....or 4P......either one would be beautiful...however, this quilt is worthy, maybe, of the time to PP the corners. I always say to myself.."If you are making gold, don't consider tinsel..." Jus saying...

My vote would be for the 4patch on point, to go with the 4patches in the body of the quilt.

I don't remember - let me look. It looks like I just kept them the flying with an eagle in one corner.

    Irishrose2, your quilt is beautiful!
Thank you for all of the input-I will play with the corners and see what happens!
