Does anyone know how to measure for setting triangles when the angle of the triangle is not 90 degrees. I know how to do regular triangles but not this kind.

I just make another block and cut off the extra. Which pattern or block type are you working on?

I saw a Dripping diamonds pattern and the on point squares are cut at an angle. One angle is 60 degrees and the opposite angle is 120 degrees. It is a parallelogram.

On Bethany Reynolds web page, she has a chart for setting triangles for many sizes of blocks. Its www.bethanyreynolds.com and yse, she is the inventor of Stack and Whack. It's on her "cool stuff" page.

The triangles on the 4 corners is smaller than the blocks but the setting triangles on the sides of the quilt are larger.
