I have not used one, but I know that someone posted not too long ago about using one. Perhaps if you search thread titles it will pop to the top (smile).

Default Aunt Becky

I ordered one but have yet to master it. I think it would help if I could get used to it.

I just watched the u tube also and if I was ever going to quilt by hand I sure would try that first. I have done very little hand quilting so maybe as a beginner it would be easier to learn something like that! Thanks for the information.

I have two that I'll be happy to sell!
I found that I wasn't stitching the backing when I used Becky. I also couldn't hold the needle in place the way Ms. Jean does in the videos. It cramped my hand and bent my needle. But I didn't mind using Becky and holding my right hand the way I normally quilt. But I can live with a callous on my thumb but I can't live with missed stitches!

i have one and use it sometimes...i am more interested in keeping the fabric soft and out of a hoop/frame so i can move it back and forth...Aunt Becky's protector does work but I just have to be in the mood...

I just watched the video and she makes it look so easy, but I bet it takes a lot of practice. I am going to try it. I may be old, but I can still be taught new tricks. Thanks for the info.

It looks good, see how fast she did the stitches? I think learning it could make it worth a persons while.

I saw the YouTube video and had high hopes, but can't get the hang of it. As some of the previous posters said, try the search function for even more info. Good luck with it!!
