While it looks intimidating the block itself is simple and the quilt is made up of the same block (done in color sets of three) simply flipped for the color placement. The key is keeping your fabrics organized to make the layered pattern formed by three identical blocks with one from the adjacent grouping (a different color set). A design wall or a place for you to lay out all the blocks will make it super easy for you. You can totally do this.

If HST intimidate you, you may wish to look into a thangles or other similar paper product. Or this will be the perfect opportunity for you to try out different ways of making HST and see what way you like best and gain a boat load of confidence in making HST and working with them.
Love your response, enthusiasm and encouragement! Sometimes we all need that little boost of enthusiasm to recharge our batteries!. Thanks

Wow, that is gorgeous. It's gonna take some skill with all those seams to match. Good luck.

Hi, I really like this pattern. I have a jellyroll plus yardage of a line of bright batiks that I thought would go well with this pattern. Can you all give me your opinion of whether you like the white background or black better. Thanks in advance.

I like your fabric better than the fabric I have. I think it has better contrast. I like both the black and white but I think the white makes the cost really pop. You can't go wrong with either though.

I've not made it, but it looks like something to put on my list. Love it! It looks like a simple pattern that gives the impression of being difficult. I know you can do it!

Such a striking difference! I love them both - I don't think you can go wrong with either one. The black one looks a little more modern than the white.

Quilting Chris,

I am no help because I really like both of them so much. I especially like the border fabric. Did you do this in EQ?
