Fantabulous, Patrice!! That's an outstanding duplicate of the applique. Even the color's the right cornflower blue. You must have been looking over my shoulder at the poor old quilt... :D

Patrice! No fair playing...I haven't got it loaded into my EQ yet. Though I like what you did so far!

then hurry up so we can see your version. time's a wasting, there, girlfriend. :P

i have a complete pattern for it - including the quilting stencils (which still need to be tweaked just a bit).

Two things...
Suz: the center block ...doesn't have stems either.
and ...
Patrice: Have the colors and cutting out the templates as I type...well right after I type. am giving the color combo a try...will show when together...will be an adaptation, not a replica. Have to work it to the fabric , man!

Patrice,
I have tried and am unable to download from the icon on the lower right corner. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? Any suggestions?

Thanks. I think we should try to determine how many of us are in love with this quilt and will be making same. And since we haven't found a name thus far, is someone going to name it for our uses. Thanks again.

Suzanne

I have given it "Leslee's Quilt " as a name until we can determine the actual name. I know Leslee is also exhausting every avenue to ascertain the name as well. My mother did say she thought it was " Daisy Chain". I haven't been able to confirm that however.

if you're trying to download the pattern file, it's pretty big. it might be giving your computer a nervous breakdown. pm your email address to me. i'll break the file into pieces and send it to you in stages. (same goes for anybody else who wants it and get download from here.)
