Quilts on my lap are automatic cat magnets.

Not to worry. I've been quilting 20 years and this was just a fluke. I thought it was funny and thought I'd share.

The first thought in my head was it could have been much worse. It might have been your eye. Take care of yourself, and know this...we all have had some kind of accident with either the scissors, needles, or the rotary cutter. You are not alone.

Ouch!! Would've made me cry, or at least my eyes to smart a bit. Did you scream and scare the cat off? LOL

Here's a real dummy move. Years ago I was sewing with much concentration on my brand new Sewmore machine. I evidently was getting closer and closer to my work when I was slammed on the forehead with the take-up arm. It took me a few moments to even figure out what happened. I had a nice knot on my forehead for days. Duh!!

At least you didn't ram it into your nose like I did right there at the bottom above the lip. Made the eyes water and some nasty words rolled off my tongue. Hubs asked why I did it. Ugh!!

A dining room , with the quilt spread out, is a good solution to that problem. Miss Kitty might have to be put out in the hall while working on the final phase of your quilt.

Who knew that quilting could be such a dangerous thing to do? I poked my eyebrow. That was a lucky miss, indeed! Much better to poke your nose.
