I've ordered tons of kits, mostly from ebay and really do enjoy doin them. They usually have them all cut out and sorted and I just have to put them together and finish the edges and backing and stuff. My quilt in my picture was a kit that I loved because of the colors.Hope you enjoy branching out a little. Enjoy

I too have done several kits and loved them - only done them because I saw something and loved it so much have also done a king size quilt BOM over the course of a year which turned out beautiful - never had any problems but yes you do have to be extra careful with the cutting!!

I haven't been disappointed with the ones I have bought - but have to agree we don't have the same choices over here- and whats with all the brilliant deals at the thrift shops - I assume they are like out charity shops!!

I would suggest you only buy from well known companies. We on this side of the pond do not have anywhere near the choices that you do inAmerica

I have purchased 2 kits now; I will not buy another. In each kit I have ran out of fabric, a certain kind, then I haven't been able to find the same fabric. So, as of this time, I am done!

No. The only kits I've worked with are the kits that come with classes. It's a bummer when I goof or when they goof.

I have done a few kits. They are great, all the fabric is there directions are usually good, and I don't have to worry about too much. You do have to cut accurately, usually there is not much "wiggle room" with the fabric included.

I have purchased a couple of kits from quilt shops and on-line. Had good quality fabric and plenty of it.

I know Joann's has good prices, but really I have had the worst luck with quality and I will never buy fabric from them again. Do not be lured by their prices - buy your fabric from equilter or your local quilt shop.

I have about 60 quilt kits I have purchased over 5 year period and am very happy with all of them. The price was very reasonable and glad I did with prices going up and up!

I have never bought a kit. Even on sale they are outside my price range as a rule.
