Had to google it and check it out and its demo video - its huge! I don't see how it would be any easier than grabbing pins from my pin cushion and I don't see how it would help in returning the pins to the pin cushion as I was sewing. It WOULD keep Rahja from pulling the pins out of the pin cushion and dropping to the floor - one of his favorite pastimes if I don't keep an eye on him in the sewing room.

I saw it too. Didn't think much of it. Besides that, none of my pins would work with it. I can see that it might be useful for a dressmaker but I wasn't impressed at all.

This device does seem a little ridiculous--I'm more concerned about recovering my used pins that are always falling off the table (I'm not coordinated enough to get them into the pin cushion while keeping the fabric going straight at the same time!) than acquiring a ridiculous device just to hand them to me. One of my teen boys brought our nail sweeper in (a big magnet on a stick that looks like a miniature push broom used on construction sites to clean up dropped nails and other iron/steel items) and swept my sewing room with it--he came up with hundreds! No wonder my little tomato always looks empty even though I keep buying new pins...

I guess the profits weren't good enough on pin cushion sales?

Same problem with Hobie and Hurley. Then I bought six of the magnetic pin dishes. No more problem. They don't like the magnetism of the dishes.
