Oh yeah! I'm in for the chocolate. I've been known to put off cutting fabric that I really love for fear I will make a mistake!

Got to the last 4 inches and didn't have enough for another row. When I rechecked everything, I found I had laid the ruler on the wrong line and made the first row too big. I'll never find that fabric again because it has been in my stash for years. Oh, well, live and learn.
Publish picture. I may have it. Does it have a royal blue background? I've had mine for years also...

Boy, count me in. I just finished sewing all of my strata together for the spicy spiral and cut 4 wedges and suddenly the light went on they seemed too short. Then I realized I had the wrong ruler it was a 14" and I need a 22", No where on my pattern does it give a length for the ruler but if the strata is 22" inches and your first cut is 21.5 something is wrong with a 14" ruler. Oh well, I'll add to the ruler and make it work but not tonight.

Yikes! Oh no! That was my first reaction. Not being able to get more. I'm glad you were able to get something that worked. TG Hancock's still had it. I had to by a half yard when I only needed 4" but... So, I ordered that fabric, then had to call back and add to the order. Wouldn't you know it, the order was already in cutting and ready to shipped, so I had to pay another postage charge for half a yard of fabric...grrrrrr Just added insult to injury!

I just made sashing only 1 1/2 inch because I goofed and didn't want to have to buy new fabric. Join the group, it keeps someone working doesn't it? LOL I am really sorry about the mistake but your sense of humor is great.

Man! It must be something in the air! So sorry you are having this problem. I recently bought a kit, which is something I don't often do. Was at our DS's over the weekend and as I was cutting it out, I miscut...thought OH, NO! Well, turns out, even if I had not made the mistake, I wouldn't have had enough to cut as the directions instructed. Then other fabric had way over what I needed! Good Grief! I had done a shop hop in Rochester, NY area on Friday and Saturday, but of course I got to this on Sunday when the shops weren't open, so I called the Ben Franklin back in PA where I got it and they didn't have any left. Called another near where I live and they had some, but couldn't get it until I got back to PA. DRAT! So, I got it after work today. Just hate that I had to spend more on the kit when it was all supposed to be there.

Glad to know that I am not alone in my woes! Bring on the chocolate!!!!!!!
