I have plans to make at least 2 quilts by Jan 9th for xmas presents. So I have bought fabric that I just love! I need to wash this stuff so at my mentors suggestion I am getting ready to zig zag it before I throw it into the washer.....the kids are in bed...hubby is upstairs watching tv...I've been planning this all day! I put the machine on the kitchen table (I have no sewing place) I thread the machine since it's been like 6 months since I have used it. I go to check the bobbin to make sure it has enough to get me through. AND the bobbin casing is GONE!!!! I search the area that shes been sitting and nothing. I actually sat down and cried. Now I have to go online and see how much it's going to cost me to get a replacement. Guess no quilting for me for a while! :-(

It's got to be somewhere...I lost one once, it had rolled into the wooden base of my machine....right in the far corner (1950's Pinnock it is attached to a rectangular box base). So don't lose hope, have a hunt around and I'm sure you'll find it.

What a disappointment. Bet it will turn up as soon as you get the new one. That's the way it goes with me.

I hope you find it. I lose things on a daily basis and I swear, as soon as I replace it the original one shows up.

So sorry to hear of your frustration. I wish I could help. Those flying monkeys move things around here, too. I hope you can find it.

Use a magnet and sweep the area. If it is around it should attract to it.
