Default I get to spend a few hours in Paduach!!!!

I am so excited!!!!!!!!!! July 3 I am leaving to drive to my sisters in IL for a nephews wedding. I am going to stop overnight in Paduach making sure I leave early enough, about 6am, to get there before the museum closes. It is a 6 hour drive so i should have most of the afternoon. Have wanted to see it forever. Going to go to Hancocks also, I put a little money aside for that too.

Wink

That sounds like FUN!! Stick to your budget, wouldn't want you to go broke and have no money for gas to get back home !!!

That's awesome! So sad, I wasn't a quilter when I lived in Kentucky

Very nice of your nephew to get married so you "have" to drive through Paducah!

I am so jealous - my daughter lives in Paducah and we don't get to see her enough. Eleanor Burns Quilt in a Day store is very close to the Quilt Museum. Don't know when it closes for the day though - but probably earlier than Hancocks of Paducah (not to be confused with a regular Hancock's fabric store - two different stores altogether). You absolutely cannot miss seeing Hancocks of Paducah in my opinion. If you have not been to a very large fabric store, you will be blown away.

I am blessed to live a hour or so away, it is a trip I love making......do check out Quilt in A Day as well. There is a lot to see, maybe you will have to stop on your way back from the wedding as well, lol.
