My heartfelt thanks to the Toni who sent me a beautiful apron. I guess I don't recognize your name, but I probably know you.

How on earth did you know I love aprons and wear one every day? They are the only piece of clothing I iron. I've been doing okay with 5 and rotating them through the week, 2 days at a time. This will make it even easier because I will have almost enough for the whole week.

Mom says I remind her of herself when she was younger and wore aprons all the time. She quit when the styles changed and women just didn't do it any more. Not me. I am hugely into the simpler times, dresses, aprons, head coverings, and taking care of my family.

Thank you again for my beautiful apron, Gwyn

Oh Gwyn, I would give anything for my Mom's aprons!! I asked her the other day if there were any left and she said she didn't think so. (she probably wore them out haha)
Isn't it funny how something we (I) took for granted as a child has become an obsession these days??
Thanks for the nice memory!
Enjoy your new apron :D

I am wearing it as we speak. I wish I recognized the name and address in TX, but alas, My half-hymers is at it again. Love the apron.

Sue if you send me a pm, I'll make an apron for you. I'm old enough that you could call it 'Mom's'. IF you send me a picture of 'MOM's apron, I can make it very close to the same.

I have to agree I love the simpler times. If I could be June Cleaver I would. What a wonderful thing to do I am green with envy!! Do you have the one with the bib type or just the skirt. I have always wanted one that came up on the chest then did the criss cross in the back and tied the had the beautiful skirt with pockets. Ahh to dream. Thank you for sharing this Gwyn!
