Please, does anyone know the number for the blanket stitch on the BERNINA 440QE?

If it wasn't for the snow I would have gone to the local shop.
I have looked all weekend(SAT>&SUN). I did call them a little while ago but they couldn't find the chart.

Thanks if you can help,

Try 45 or 46. 46 is a heavier blanket stitch.

Thank you. I'll be back later.

Sandy,
I'm back. Perfect, Thank you very much.

46 was too heavy but 45 is perfect when I changed to the 20 foot and 4x4 stitch length and width.

I have 16 Christmas tress to applique for a retreat this weekend. You have helped me very much. I can do it!

#45 is my favourite for blanket stitch too. #48 is the one which looks like a little pine tree (angled stitches on both sides) and it looks nice depending on the look you want.

Thanks for that info. I can try it around the edge of the blocks.

I have appliqued six trees (8x10) in the last hour. I will post these when I am done.

Sorry for the triple play. The post didn't show up at first.

Go to www.BerninaUSA.com and look for the stitch conversion chart. It has all the machines and all the stitches. Great reference.
