Need help! Moda Modern Building Blocks
Moda issued the Modern Building Block pattern in 2014, I think. I bought the pattern around then, but am only getting around to it now. I have made all but one block -- #1. It is a massive block, about 48" square. My problem is that the pattern only gives cutting instructions, not sewing instructions. I have found online tutorials for a couple of other blocks that gave me problems, but nothing for #1. Nothing at all on Moda's site.
I need to know what the dimensions of the sub-blocks are. If I don't know the correct dimensions for the center part of the block, I have no chance of having the finished block come out anywhere near correct.
If you have -- or have seen -- a tutorial or similar help for this block, please let me know. Many thanks for any help you can give!

Here's a blogger how made this quilt and she mentions the size for block 1.
Edit: I tried to post a link but it didn't work. Try this instead.

Thank you so much for your help!! Cannot imagine how I missed it in my search (note to self: improve internet search skills.) The fabricjules blog was perfect! Just what I needed. Now, I may finally complete this quilt. Thanks again to everyone who read my posting.

It's possible that the fault lies in the search engine, not in your skills. Several months ago, I switched to using duck duck go because of privacy and tracking concerns. Yesterday I went looking for a specific fabric not only did I not find anything, my results contained some bizarre items. Went to Google and immediately found several listings for that fabric. Google's logarithms are pretty thorough.
