I'd leave it too. It's a happy turkey with a happy frame. Maybe he managed to escape the hunters and is living in the fall foliage.

I would leave it on and put a darker binding on it. Not a problem. I likeit.

It looks great! If you think the leaves are too busy, try a border that doesn't have as much going on, perhaps a darker one.
