    Default my panel

    Hello everyone..........
A while back I asked how I could make a panel into attic windows. Thanks for all the great ideas! I finally decided to applique my window panes on my panel. That way I would not have to cut my beautiful panel.I take quilting classes and the women also told me it would be a shame to cut such a beautiful panel. All the women on this site are great. I enjoy reading the threads. I get alot of great ideas.
thanks again from Teresa in NC

Well that sounds like an interesting way to do it. We need a picture when it is done!

i don't understand why appliquing over the fabric is any different than cutting the fabric to fit. it seems to me that the same amount of fabric can be seen either way, so why not make it a little easier by cutting?

i think appliqueing the window sashing to the panel would keep the picture 'lined up', especially if the window sashing is wider.
