    I have both. The FW is easy to lift with one hand even in the case so I think about 12lb. The 301 is a little heavier as it's longer but still easy for me to carry with one hand. I guess I could go weigh each one, maybe later.

    The Feather weight weighs approx. 11 lbs and the 301 weighs approx. 16 lbs.

    The 301 weighs about 16 pounds with the cord and foot control. The vintage grasscloth-covered case weighs another six or seven pounds plus attachments. :)

    The original case for the FWs is solid wood and heavy. The machine itself only weighs 11 lbs.
