I just wanted to say thank you to all who have suggested and also gave website instructions for the custom made pillowcases. It works out so well and I've sewn 10 for the children and teens on our Christmas list. Now I can concentrate on the DGD's Christmas gifts.....a dolly quilt and a little handbag.

Those pillowcases that everyone seems to be making.....use a main fabric, a small selvage piece that's like a little flap piece and then a larger piece for the cuff. Works out so well and so pretty. And you custom make it to suit the recipient. Perfect!!!

I think they're called "burrito method" on my instruction sheet.

Oh gee, I haven't heard it called that but they do mention that you create a "tube" and after you stitch all the pieces together, you pull out the fabrics in the tube and it makes a clean, no raw edges on the cuff.

Sausage method is delicious. Glad it worked out for you.
