Default Help finding fabric

I was at a quilt show yesterday and saw some nice quilts done with panels that I have not seen before and am in need of help locating them. 1) Presidents of the United States 2) A map of the United States & not sure if this one is a panel or yardage but it is a different one of the United States showing what each state is know for eg. Michigan is automobile capital of the world. I have already sent a message to fabric.com If anyone knows of any other sites please let me know. Thanks...

Could you contact the people who put on the quilt show? Maybe they could send you in the right direction.

Here's a few things I found but I don't think it's what you are looking for exactly:

I bought some from Hobby Lobby 9-12 months ago. They were not like a “perfect” map. More “kid” like. I used it as a back for one of my grandsons quilt.

Keep in mind that some of us hold on to a "perfect" fabric for years before we use them, so unless you saw them at a vendor at the show as well, chances are good that are least a year or more old by the time a quilt is made and shown so may already be out of production by the time you saw it.

There has been a US large map available at Joann for the last couple of years. Here's a world map from them:

When I did a search on "presidents" at equilter I got a lot of interesting things but not I think what you are describing. Check the links for other options.

One of my current projects is Postcards made from large (actual post card sized) rectangles of scenes and then framed with an attic window setting. Those will then be put together with black sashing. I've looked at a lot of map fabrics over the last couple of years and I plan to piece the back including a large map. But I haven't seen much of presidents, although I've gotten a lot of what I would consider "scenic Americana".

You might try Connecting Threads and Keepsake Quilting. Connecting Threads did carry some panels, one I love is of Mount Rushmore.
