I am trying to teach myself to quilt - BOY, do I need HELP! I have made a baby quilt for our first great grandson, I do have to say, it turned out nice, but had no idea what I was doing!!!! Want to make another one for us, and it is hard to pick out the material I want, there is just so many nice ones! Guess I will have to take my time and think about this! Hope I come to a decision SOON!

There are a lot of panels available along with coordinating fabric available, you might want to try one.

You could choose one focus fabric that you're in LOVE with... and then match others to it. That's what I do.

Welcome from Texas! Yes, I agree a kit would be good to start with also, you might check around for some quilting classes at some fabric stores!
