Default Superior threads/organ needles

I need to order some needles.

There are so many opinions on what's best and places to shop. Ideally I would like to order a lot of 100 on eBay to share with my mom and sister... Does organ sell the titanium topstitch needles under their own name brand, or only through superior? Is there a less $$ comparable alternative? I realize you get what you pay for and buying thebest and all that, but I am sewing on a budget so try to balance best value for $$ spent. I've been using Schmetz universal or microtex, but need a larger quantity than buying from jas one coupon at a time.

Thanks!

I just purchases 100 organ needles for less than $20. and they are working perfect in my Janome sewing machine. I am very satisfied with them .Ordered them off the internet from JHittle & Co.

I use Organ "Large Eye" needles and buy from Allstitch.net I haven't tried the titanium yet because of price but I LOVE the Large Eye Organ needles. I usually buy the 75/11 in both sharps and ballpoints and have very little problem.

you can order direct from Schmetz Needles, in bulk, I believe they ship out of Chicago, no shipping charge....have ordered from them several times.

The price of the needles you mention is high because they are titanium, not because they are Superior.

Yes, I understand that. I was looking for a source for them that is less expensive than superior. Now that I know that organ does make them under their own name as well, I have found them for 1/2 the cost that superior sells them for. If I couldn't find them for less, I was looking for recommendations for a similar alternative.

misskira, if I may ask, where did you find the titanium needles for half price?

There are quite a few places that sell them, and I still need to compare prices factoring in shipping. But here is one:
http://www.allbrands.com/products/29...titanium-coate

Pd designates the titanium.
