I have had a Grace Pro quilting frame with a Juki 98QE for about 3 years. The machine is great, but I am intimidated by the frame!! Does anyone have tips on using this frame or a similar one? Thanks.

I would search youtube for videos showing how to load a quilt on the frame. I know how to load my B-Line and my ProFlex but not sure if they are comparable to your Grace.

I am the brand new owner of my first frame which is a little Gracie II. I helped my son put it together which helped me understand the dynamics of a frame. Then once alone with it I was scared for a few weeks. Anyway, looking at one after another you tube vidoes I figured it out. Look at the videos by Kathyquilts. Since they sell Grace frames. I found that one to be the most useful. They helped me understand how to pin your quilt on the leaders, what is a take up, etc.

Lots of good advice alreeady listed. Just wanted to say that I have a Baileys on a GMQ Pro frame and love it. Sorry I can't help much with the set-up as DH put it all together for me and readjusts it when needed. I am not mechanically inclined:-)
Once you get it set up right and practice using it you will love it so much!

Thanks for posting this website. My brother just made me a frame and I was not sure how to do the loading. The pictures and directions are very clear.
