Default Christmas in July

I just received 3 huge boxes of fabric from my Aunt in Texas. She had saved this fabric for the last 30 years and finally decided she wasn't going to use it. Also in the box were 19 blocks that my grandmother had sewn in 1941 and never finished. My grandma has embroidered the names of the girls in my aunt's graduating HS class on each block. She asked me to finish it and keep it. What a treasure! I'm going to add one more block with my aunt's name on it and the borders will have the name of the high school and the year. Can't wait to get started!

You have a truly giving aunt who must love you greatly. These fabrics and blocks would be so much fun to stitch. Have fun!
