I bought some of that foam to make an audition wall. IT was not expensive. IT came in 4'x8' sheets. No matter what a whole lot less expensive than buying a new sewing table.

I just looked this up on Lowes and they had a 4x8 ft, 2in thick sheets for about $21 each. Maybe this price was a typo!
