Make sure you see the quilting museum. I think Eleanor Burns still has a store in Paducah. Also go down to the river and see the paintings on the flood wall. If you are into history go across the river to Metropolis Illinois and tour Fort Masaac. It is connected to Lewis and Clark.

I think Caryl Byer-Fallert (or however you spell her name) has a shop/studio there also. I am sure if you ask around, the natives can point you in the right direction. Have fun!!!!!!

Make sure you eat lunch at Kirchhoff's Bakery downtown. 118 Market House Square. We always have lunch during the quilt show and it is always wonderful.

The Museum is worth a visit. Great quilts and nice gift shop.

Make sure!!!! you go to Hancock's of Paducah...you'll cry at the sheer amount of fabric and every known notion they have there! They also have fair pricing and a good clearance section usually. Wish I was close enough to go...I am a charter member of AQS and never missed a show until we left Memphis...I STILL hate it!
So have fun, do some looking for those of us who wish but can't!
