Yes, curved feathers that echo/follow the curved lines. Then arches inside the triangles to soften the lines. It's truly a wonderful work!!

When that picture popped up after clicking on this thread the words "Wow, what a fantastic quilt!!" came out of my mouth out loud! I love to paper piece, but have not checked out Karen Stone. Guess where I'm going now!

That is absolutely gorgeous. I am following this thread closely because to me the three worst words in the world are "quilt as desired". I like the idea of feathers in the gray areas, or even a close stiple to really make all the points pop.

Thank you sooo much for your kind words, and ideas! I so love this board!
I think I will finally load this quilt on Monday and go from there(we're going Archery 3D shooting this weekend and will practice drawing many feathers.I like all the ideas and truly do love feathers.
Yes, I will post the final quilted quilt when I get it done.
You all are amazing!

Very visibly stunning quilt. Your color choices are outstanding. You have done a wonderful job. If you get it finished and entered let us know how you did ok? If I were the judge I'd call it a winner!!!!

Your quilt is amazing. I sat here and stared for 5 minutes. Amazing.

How ever you quilt it, it will only add to the beauty of your quilt.

Too many choices. Why don't you just send it to me and let me worry about it.

I think feathers would be a nice contrast to the points.
