I don't think there's such a thing as too much feathering! LOL Check out some of Charismah's work...she does some beautiful things with feathers. There was a log cabin that she did that was laid out in similar fashion to your pattern.

thanks for the links. Gave me some ideas. Now off to work on it. I will post a new picture when I am done...thanks for the all of the ideas...you guys are the best ;)

I LOVE that pattern! Gotta make one!!! Yours is beautiful, and sorry, I don't do any of the fancy quilting, so I can't be much help with that.

I have that pattern too, still looking for some fabric for it. Yours looks great -
