ok, my brain is mushy from all this back to school stuff. So now I am sitting here with free time to sew and I can't think! I need dimensions for a conerstone block, finished size 5", it will have a red and white pinwheel block flanking it on either side. I would like to have some kind of star if possible to mirror the centre of the quilt. Can anyone help me? The picture is of the quilt and the boarder with one red and white pinwheel block sitting on top.

The only thing comes to mind at the moment is Lamoyne Star. My brain isn't functioning on all cylinders at the moment. I'll keep looking though. Your quilt looks great.

I just looked on quilterscache.com, and the smallest stars they have are 6". If you could put a sashing on your pinwheels to make them a bit bigger, to go with a 6"..... ?? Sorry I couldn't help you more.
:-)
