It probaqbly would be best to take it off and do over. Sometimes the way things are written it' s hard to know how much to leave or where to sew. I wish it was clearer myself or are we just supposed to know where to cut and how it will finish so they are all alike. I wish I could help you more. Good Luck. Sue

The mistake is fixable. What's important is that your butterfly looks super. Good job with the applique, and also with fabric selection.

Understood ... been there done that!!! Several times in fact

Remove the current border, cut a new one, attach and measure. If you are really hesitant, make the new border piece 1 1/4" then trim to the desired size.

And my apology for not mentioning it the first time - the block is very pretty! Great job on the butterfly - which was the hard part!

The butterfly is beautiful.

I would make like a frog and ... rippit, rippit, tippit. then start over.

Is the inside block 6" finished or unfinished?

In block swaps do you have to put borders???

Just realized one of my stems are not in the vase not good my friend not good!!!!
