Why don't you do a quilt in the colors of the zombie fabric and then do pillowcases in zombies. The zombie fad will pass and you don't want the putting the quilt away because they no longer care about the zombies.

just because he loves zombies doesn't mean you have to make a wedding present of them unless the new DIL also loves them. I like zombies too but even I don't think I would do zombies for a wedding present.

make them a Beautiful quilt. They must have other interests, maybe nascar. save the zombie stuff for a birthday.

Another way to look at is loving a foot ball team. I still wouldn't want a WEDDING QUILT with a logo on it.

people can like whatever they want. I love french fries but I don't want a quilt or even a mug with a potato on it. but that's just me!
peace and may the wedding be wonderful and the couple make a happy life together.

Yes my DIL thinks the Zombie obsession is "cute" they are even getting my son a Zombie Grooms cake he does not know because he is a Marine and away from home so can’t help with the planning BUT She is also very Girly and Sweet and I do want it to Outlast the Zombie phase "BellaBoo" I love the Light Dark Log Cabin Idea Thankyou all for your Help. Im hopeing with the smaller peices it will distract form the Zombie thing unless looking for it and that would be kind of fun for them and the fabric is not nightmare ugly just not "pretty" some of it is really kind of cute

I will make another after they are married With her inputto guide my choices LOL
Again thank you everyone Have a great day

that is the reason i want to hide it in the quilt it will go with the wedding however since they are haveing a grooms cake they are young and are having fun with it so i will too and I can always make another quilt which was the plan anyway to make a pretty quilt also but there is only time for one so why not one they will love even if just for the moment afer all life is just a lot of little moments and we should find a way to love them all

I like the idea of the log cabin. You could fussy cut a zombie for the center block and do a border in the zombie fabrics.

Oh my, I just looked at that fabric and its an average of $18 a yard! If it was me, I would only pick 2 of the fabrics and find some nice fabric to off set the cost and the design of the zombies.
