Patricia Pepe's 'Knight Time' quilt could adapt to this kind of colour scheme. You could see it at www.quiltqueendesigns.com or log on to www.quilterstv.com where she demonstrates her blocks and tools and you can get a lot of other great demonstrations as well.

Drunkard's path is a two color quilt. Of course, the curve is more difficult.

I have made this pattern also and I love it. It is not sewn on-point, it's one of those you sew in rows, then cut diagonally, reposition, resew, cut diagonally again, reposition, then resew and VOILA you have an on-point quilt. Can be done in a day, two at the most.

In one of my quilting books, I recently saw a pattern I wanted to make, with just 2 fabric. Basically you have a solid color square that you set on an angle and a 9 patch with the 2 colors. when you alternate these blocks, it creates a path like pattern. Looks very traditional and gorgeous.
