Default Help with sign

I can't find my old post -- I asked for help with my sign for craft fair-- Here is the finished product. I'll try to attach a picture. The show went OK i think. Sold enough to cover booth cost and got some leads -- the final test will be if they actually call and set up orders. Thanks to everyone that gave me feedback. My memory bears were the hit of the day. Now i have to decide if I try another show or wait to see if I get results from this one before spending money on another one. Thoughts?

Your sign turned out great, and glad you were able to cover costs at least. Here's a link to your original posting. http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...n-t161502.html

Your sign is very eye-catching! Also the Sunflowers are very pretty. If you know or spoke with some of the other vendors maybe you could ask them how they did and if this was their first show. Maybe get a feel for the public as to what was a hit and miss.

I love your sign! I'm so glad you posted it! It is good that you covered the cost of the booth. I'll bet you'll get orders. I do hope so.

Nice, bright colorful sign. It would definitely have made me stop in at your booth.

I think your sign is very attractive and looks like you laid out the booth well. If you sold enough to cover your costs at a first show, I think that's doing great!

Your sign and booth appearance are great! But I would not count on getting enough calls from folks who saw you to keep your business going. The standard advice is that you must constantly be reaching out. I would say that you should certainly look for another show and then others in the future, until you have such a stream of repeat business and referral business that you don't have time!

Did you offer your customers the chance to sign up for your emails? Do you have a Facebook page that you can use to communicate with folks? You said that your memory bears were successful. Maybe you should try to get your local newspaper interested in a soft and fuzzy story about the bears.

I sold Longaberger baskets at one time, and I was terrible at carrying out my own advice! I loved talking about them, meeting new people, but came to dislike the constant need to reach out and ask for more business. For me, this was a sideline -- my 'profits' hardly paid for my own purchases! But if you want to make this a real moneymaker, you'll probably have to keep hustling for quite a while.

Beautiful sign and your booth is arranged nicely, too.

LeslieFrost gave you some very good advice. Good luck and have fun!
