Hi
Hope someone can help me or lead me in the right direction. I have a Singer Model 66, born December 16, 1924. I have her all cleaned up and in the process of putting her back together. The spring for my bobbin winder broke. I have been looking all over the internet trying to find one. I will post a pix. I need the kickoff spring not the tension spring. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
thank you!!!

Send a PM to Billy (Lostn51) He is our very own vintage machine guru & more than likely has the part you need or definitely knows where for you to get one.

I think I see the spring you need on this page:

Simanco 15291 is your part number for the spring.

That's the same number as the one on the page I posted! $3.99 plus shipping.

Thanks for your help but, I must be missing something. The spring I need is long on one end and a short on the other! What am I missing?
thank you!

It might be a spring from a 99 bobbin winder I will go out and look to see what the differences are.

Maybe this diagram will help you to see what I am looking for. At the bottom of the page from the website above shows the spring I need. I can't find one anywhere.
