Esther Eliu = Designer - new FREE BOM and QB Tutorials
#1
Esther Eliu will be posting a new FREE BOM on Monday. I have been working on her last one called Hearts Desire. I am still working on the last border. The new BOM is not a mystery quilt. I am glad for that. Can't wait.
Also, last night while my DGS was watching TV I started looking at all the tutorials board members have posted. So much talent, and many wonderful projects. I bookmarked 10. Now what do I start on?

I've never made one of Esther's quilts - simply not up to that level yet - but I've saved every block instruction from the last two and am eagerly looking forward to her next! Someday ...
The weekend is too long to wait, eh? I'd say start one of your bookmarks that contains an easy bit - say, a zillion nine patches - so you can either finish that part quickly or you won't feel badly about putting it aside when Esther's next project begins! Or you could make Esther's rabbit that she released this past Easter, it's wonderful.

grendelskin, you are right her patterns are very detailed. The last one Hearts Desire was a real stretch for me. Especially the borders. I have the rabbit ready to assemble! Going to save it for next Easter to give to someone.

Esther's BOM page:

Each piece is free for one month, then she sells them (I think). So bookmark her site, it's bound to be something beautiful which will stretch your applique skills - or maybe stencilling, she's a whiz-kid there too.
