I need to make a bed runner for my husbands bed and I'm wondering what a good pattern would be, also how large should I make it.

Bear Paws comes to mind, and maybe mix the blocks with Rail Fence of the same colors.

I would measure the current bed cover and make it that long. Then, using that measurement, I would figure out the width. Why not do a sampler? They you get to try out a ton of different blocks. Lots of fun.
