Have to wait to tomorrow to cut the pieces I guess.. Blah time for early bedtime I suppose! :( :(

Don't you just hate to be interrupted by equipment failure? Just be glad it was an iron. They are cheap.

A lot of ladies on here have "back up" irons, they buy them at the thrift shop. I only have one, mine died last spring when I had to get a quilt done quickly. Fortunately for me Target is only 7 min away and I found one on sale!
Hope you can get another iron and get some work done tomorrow

I found a pretty decent iron at WalMart for $7. I take it to classes and sewdays. It stays in the trunk of my car. It's been going strong for over a year, but it's only used a few times a month. A friend of mine buys the cheapest iron at WalMart, uses it until it dies a horrible death then buys another one. She said by the time the iron dies, it's covered in goo and gunk any way from fusible, starch, and glue.

The Walmart near me has a cheap steam iron on sale for $6. For crafting and pressing, I figure it would work well enough. Especially if it's a backup.
