Default Hex n More ruler... Have you used it?

Someone here mentioned the Hex n More ruler. It looks like a ruler I would use often, but I was wondering how anyone likes it. Have you bought one and do you like it? Or is it one of those things you bought and never use?

How easy is it to use for hexagons and for half hexagons?

Thanks!

My guild bought this ruler and the new one, Sidekick along with many of her patterns for our library. Several members have used it and liked it a lot.

you know, I have one like that and never liked it. I use Nancy's notions or Marti Mitchell's (I think) or Kaye Woods where they nest into each other. made out of tough cardboard or something. anyway, I like individual hex sizes. not where I must figure out anything. but that's just me.

Hmmm, for the guild library.....never thought go that....how does that work-lending tools, I mean. Two of us are the new "librarians" at our guild and we are trying to put some "spark" into it...... This might be the answer.....tell me more about it BellaBoo.....and/or others who have guild libraries that have Tools as well as books available. Just thinking....can the templates be shared that way or is that some sort of infringement?

My guild buys specialty rulers and book or patterns that go with it. The ruler or tool is demoed at the meeting so everyone knows how to use it. Every business meeting the librarian reports what is checked out and who has it checked it out. Library rules are on the membership form everyone has to sign when joining. We have a locked cabinet that holds our library items.

Our LQS has them as well I took the beginning to English Paper Piecing using hexi's and our instructor showed us how to use one, I haven't decided yet to buy one or not. I'd like to hear how other's feel about it, there's another fall class coming up on hexi's and stuff that I will take and hopefully get to use the ruler.
