Hexagon edge finishing...help please!
I have made a little round table topper of hand stitched hexagons, with freezer paper templates. I would like to leave the edge with the hexagon shape. What's the best way to finish this? TY

The easiest way is to just stitch the top to the backing and batting and turn right side out before quilting.
If you choose to do binding, bias tape works well, but you have to do the little mitered pleat at each inside and outside point. Very time consuming, but worth it, if that is the look you want. And really needs to be done by hand.
