Default Hexie Quilts - How do you quilt yours? What pattern looks good?

A friend of mine did a hexie for her very first quilt, all by hand. I was very impressed, it is really pretty.
She is wondering how to quilt it. She has a walking foot, and I think would rather not quilt by hand. What kind of quilting pattern looks good on a hexie? Anyone have pictures they can share? Thanks for your help!

My first quilt was hexies, too. And I did quilt it by hand by outlining all the flowers. However, I guess you (or better your friend) could do that by machine, too? Here are two pics from front and back:

That's what my friend did, too, QUILTNMO. She still needs to quilt and bind.

I finished a mini and used straight line stitching through some of the hexies.
