We made those in our little group and just did it exactly like a regular quilt just the corners came a little bit quicker.

I think the easiest thing to do is make an backing and turn it rightside out and stitch around the edges.

Welcome to the board from Murrells Inlet, SC. Never have done a hexagon shape, but seems it wouldn't be much different than square corners that are done with mitered corners. Have fun.
