Hello and Welcome from Northern Indiana ! Glad you joined us

When I did it I just sewed the front on slowly- then attached the back the normal way by hand -- maybe someone else has another suggestion

Cut your binding on the bias and apply like any other. When you get to an angle: stitch up to the 1/4 inch on the next side, needle down, raise the presser foot and swivel
the piece to line up the piece for straight line sewing. Repeat this for all sides. End the binding as you would for a regular quilt.
When you are ready to finish and hand stitch the binding down, again stitch up to the 1/4" site and fold back a small chevron in the binding to make it line up with the next side to sew.
Clear as mud?
Good luck!

Oh yes, I'm glad you're here. You'll find it a friendly place.
